Thank you for choosing Pristinct! These Terms & Conditions cover your use of and access to our services and website. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & conditions of use. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the services.

Do check these Terms frequently to take note of any changes we may have made to them, as they may be updated by us from time to time.

Introduction

These Terms & Conditions explain the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of both Pristinct and the Customer in relation to the Services that are provided by Pristinct. Pristinct undertakes to exercise the utmost care in processing articles entrusted to us and use such processes that, in our opinion, are best suited to the nature and condition of each individual article.

General

The content of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without prior notice. Pristinct reserves the right to refuse services to any customer or reject any item wholly or partially.

Pristinct reserves the right, in its full consideration, at any time and without any prior notice to remove, amend, or improve the services of any page of this website.

PRISTINCT MINT LUXURY

Buy

We accept Paynow and bank transfer. Unfortunately, we are unable to make reservations for any of our goods because each piece is unique. Orders are only considered confirmed and will be handled once full payment is received.

Sell

Do you have any items of luxury that you no longer love and are currently stored in your wardrobe? Give it another chance to shine by selling it to Pristinct. WhatsApp us some photos of your item(s) for appraisal.

Consign

Do you have a luxury item to sell but are unsure of where to do it? Consign with us and let us sell it on your behalf. We’re dedicated to selling your items promptly while providing the finest value in the pre-owned luxury goods market.

Authenticity

We guarantee the authenticity of all Pristinct goods to our buyers. In the event that a customer finds something different, we offer a 100% refund.

Exchange/Return/Refund

With the exception of the aforementioned instances, all sales are final and cannot be exchanged, returned, or refunded.

Selling & Consignment

All prices indicated for products sold or consigned to Pristinct are subject to the condition that the items are 100% authentic and not fake / counterfeit.

  • The Seller / Consignor must ensure the item’s authenticity and that it was purchased from the original shop. Any information regarding the object being sold must be properly disclosed.
  • If Pristinct’s management or staff determine differently, an administrative fee of S$250.00 per item will be imposed.
  • Pristinct reserves the right to pursue legal actions against any Seller / Consignor who attempts to sell / consign counterfeit or fake items, whether intentionally or not.
  • A copy of the Seller’s / Consignor’s official identity document will be kept for reference.
  • Pristinct shall make payment by Paynow, bank transfer, or cash to the Seller / Consignor directly.

In order to consign, a person must be at least 18 years old. Kindly take notice of the following guidelines:

  • Pristinct shall not be liable for any wear and tear that may occur during the regular course of business, even if every precaution may have been taken to guarantee proper care of the consigned items.
  • Items left at Pristinct are at the owner’s own risk. The management or staff of Pristinct shall not be held accountable for any loss or damage to the items consigned, and any liability will be restricted to the initial price agreed upon for consignment purposes. The period for consignment is 3 months.
  • If the Consignor decides to collect the items before the consignment due date, an administrative fee of S$250.00 or 15% of the committed value per item, whichever is greater, will be charged.
  • Consigned goods that remain unsold after 3 months must be claimed by the consignor within 1 month.
  • During the consignment term, Pristinct will have the exclusive right to promote and sell the consigned item(s). Item will be dealt with at the sole discretion of the management and staff at Pristinct.

  2. Entrupy authentication is available upon request for a fee.
  3. Any relevant accessories, such as the original box, dust bag, or authenticity card, will be outlined in the description. Items that are not stated are not included.
  4. Please note that the majority of our items are PRE-LOVED and may have slight defects caused by normal wear and storage, which may or may not be mentioned.
  5. Each pre-loved item is thoroughly authenticated by our team and acquired from trusted and reputable sources.
  6. Since all our items are unique, we are unable to reserve them. Orders are confirmed and processed only once full payment has been made.
  7. All sales are final; no cancellations, modifications, or refunds will be accepted or processed under any circumstances.
  8. Buyers are advised to review all photos and conditions before making a purchase.
  9. By proceeding with the payment, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.

PRISTINCT LUXURY CARE

Before Service

Do ensure that all personal belongings are removed from wallets/handbags. Pristinct will not be responsible for the loss or damage to any items left behind. Dust bags are not required.

Cleaning Service

Pristinct’s objective is to restore your item to a condition that is as similar as possible to its original condition. However, please be informed that your item will not become brand new, although we do strive to improve the condition of your bag. Complete removal of stains is not guaranteed, as the efficacy of our cleaning methods depends on several other factors as well.

Comments about the damage or stains on your item that may be noted on your invoice are for our reference only and are not conclusive or final. It is impossible to note all irregularities, problems, damage, or stains on every invoice. We do attempt to record this information, but there is no guarantee that these descriptions are complete.

Cleaning is the process whereby the item is cleaned, either the interior, exterior, or both. It may include a metal hardware polish as well. We employ different cleaning solutions and methods for different materials and areas, resulting in a longer wait time in certain cases. Cleaning your items regularly can help keep them mould free. We also offer an anti-bacteria treatment to kill the germs on your item, but it is mainly for hygiene purposes, and some stains can only be reduced and not completely removed. Each individual item is different, and we may need to assess the item after the initial cleaning service to see if further services are required. Cleaning is mainly for hygiene purposes. In the case where further services are needed, the lead time would increase appropriately.

There are a few possibilities that may result, depending on each item’s existing condition:

  1. Items made of fabric, canvas, or nylon would have the most significant change after cleaning, but do note that the item may be slightly coarse and furry after.
  2. Exotic leathers such as snake, crocodile, and ostrich skin, as well as fox fur, will have limited cleaning results as these materials are very delicate.
  3. Patent leather or PVC glossy leather will have minimal results after cleaning if it has been stained. For these items, once they have been stained or discolored, they will be permanently there.
  4. Suede leather, which has various lengths of fur, can be cleaned, but stain removal is minimal due to the nature of the material. In some cases, dark stains may be lightened after cleaning.
  5. Vachetta leather commonly found on Louis Vuitton bags is extremely sensitive and can be stained permanently by water; hence, cleaning would only help to lighten the stains and not completely remove them.
  6. Color fading might occur after cleaning for some materials, depending on the original condition of the item. For instance, two-tone canvas bags may be slightly faded after the cleaning service.
  7. Furry threads on stitches may occur after cleaning, depending on the existing condition of the bag itself.
  8. Damage such as tears, frays, peels, or any material with holes may expand after cleaning, depending on the existing condition of the item.
  9. Stains would only be reduced by the cleaning service, and we cannot guarantee that they would be completely removed. For instance, yellowish glue stains, denim stains, water stains, pen ink stains, or any other stains.
  10. Note: Our leather ateliers may recommend a color restoration service in order to fully cover any stains once the cleaning process is done.
  11. Adhesive glue stains due to oxidation and can occur on both leather and non-leather goods. The effectiveness of cleaning glue stains is minimal, but we would strive to remove as much as possible.
  12. Stickiness has two causes: the first is due to the item being in contact with sweaty palms, hand lotion, oil, and other products. In these cases, a cleaning service would be able to remove the stickiness. The second possibility is due to the high temperatures, hot weather, and improper storage. It could also cause the material to oxidize, and in such cases, cleaning results would be limited and may even remain.
  13. Mould occurs when there is improper storage, one’s usage, or a change in climate. Our cleaning service is able to remove the mould as well as disinfect the items for hygiene purposes. However, in a serious case of mould, it would leave a stain on the item and cause the color of the item to change rapidly. If your bag is in such a condition, cleaning would not be able to remove the stain.
  14. Note: For items that have been sent for mould removal service, the mould may or may not come back, as it depends on the storage and the frequency of use. We would recommend placing dehumidifiers close to the bags as well as storing them in an open and well-ventilated room.
  15. Cleaning services would not help restore the color if your item is discolored. We would highly recommend picking a color restoration service instead.
  16. Oxidation of your metal hardware may occur, and polishing would not be able to remove such stains unless you opt for a plating service.
  17. Un-refurbished cases, such as those with scratches, wrinkles, dent marks, press marks, and shrunken leather, may remain after service.
  18. Adhesive residues cannot be cleaned off with a one-time service, as the residue would come out sooner or later. The cleaning results for this case are limited, but we will try our best to remove it without damaging the bag. If it occurs again, we will advise you to wipe it off using cotton buds.
  19. Items that have an odour can only be reduced by cleaning; if the substance has been absorbed into the material, the smell may remain.
  20. Important note: After cleaning, the items may appear stiff and slightly dry; this is due to the removal of dirt, dust, germs, and oil. The bag would be normal after a period of usage.

Restoration Service

Color restoration is a term used to describe the process of recoloring items to their original colors. Coloring is more suitable for leather materials, and we would try to match the original color as closely as possible. The outcome of the color restoration depends on the existing condition of your item.

  1. Color-changing is possible in the event that it has been badly discolored. We are able to do a full re-dye, or you may opt for a change in color. Customers are required to provide us with a physical color palette so we can use it as a reference.
  2. Dual-tone colors on the same piece of leather will be colored to either of the tones only. For e.g LV Epi Leather bags/Givenchy Pepe bags.
  3. Color restorations for metallic colors like gold, silver, and bronze are not advisable as the color may easily fade off.
  4. Scratches can be covered; color restorations will be able to conceal mild scratches. But if scratches are too deep, coloring may only reduce the visibility of the marks.
  5. Brand logos would be left untouched.
  6. Suede leather can be recolored; however, it may turn out coarse and stiff. Other kinds of suede leather will be nubuck leather. Nubuck leather items may have a slight glossy effect as they have the shortest fur. Hence, for suede items of varying fur lengths, there may be uneven areas after a color restoration.
  7. Non-leather items such as fabric, canvas, nylon, and denim may not be recolored as it may result in the item being coarse and stiff.
  8. Exotic leathers may be restored, but this is subject to the bag’s existing condition.
  9. Patent leather items cannot be color restored.
  10. Patterned leather may be restored, but it is subject to the bag’s existing condition.
  11. Metal hardware like buckles, studs, rings, zippers, or chains cannot be recolored, but we do offer re-plating and repair services.

Pickup and Delivery Service

Pickup and delivery slots are subject to availability. Pristinct will endeavour to deliver the items to your specified address within the allocated time frame but does not and cannot guarantee that all time frames will be met as there may be external factors beyond our control that may result in early or delayed pickups. You agree that Pristinct shall not be liable for any pickups or deliveries made outside the specified time frame. In any case of anticipated delays, we would endeavour to contact you and inform you.

Where you specifically instruct Pristinct to leave your item outside your home, it will be at your own risk, and you accept all liability and the risk of loss, theft, and damage. Deliveries of this nature would not be accepted by Pristinct if the mode of payment was cash on delivery. For all other deliveries, please arrange for someone to receive the item or items and sign off on the delivery sheet to acknowledge that the items have been delivered.

Note: Free pick-up and delivery service is only valid for the 1st scheduled pickup/delivery. Any change in pickup/delivery timings must be made known to our staff at least 2 days in advance of the scheduled timeslot to avoid incurring a charge of $15 for subsequent pickups/deliveries.

For customers paying via cash, kindly provide the exact amount when our courier arrives. Payment may also be made via PayNow/Paylah/Bank transfer. Kindly note that we will only proceed with servicing your items once full payment is received.

After Service

All complaints or dissatisfaction must be made known at the point of collection of the item. Pristinct would not take responsibility once items were handed over and signed for.

Warranty

The information and advice contained on our website or any other placements are to be used as a guide and are without warranty of any kind, whether expressed or implied.

Any claims or irregularities with respect to the condition of your item must be made within three (3) days from the time the item is collected.

Cancellations

Once payment has been made for our services, there will under no circumstances be any cancellations or refunds.
